Dear Mr. Chairman: (Dear Representative:) (Dear Senator:)
Consistent with section 306(c)(2) of the Cuban Liberty and
Democratic Solidarity (LIBERTAD) Act of 1996 (Public Law 104-114)
(the «Act»), I hereby determine and report to the Congress that
suspension, for 6 months beyond August 1, 2009, of the right to
bring an action under title III of the Act is necessary to the
national interests of the United States and will expedite
a transition to democracy in Cuba.

La culpa la tendría un escueto cable de EFE que nadie supo comprender. Tampoco las redacciones visitaron el site de la Casa Blanca para leer la carta de marras.
Véase la orgía obamocubana que se formó (alguno hasta devolvió a la primera plana un dossier por los 50 años de la revolución).
¡Tremenda fiesta! ¡Tremenda noticia!
Tanta gritería, tanto entusiasmo, tanta impaciencia… y sobre todo tanto desconocimiento de la política norteamericana hacia Cuba. Porque, oigan, carticas como esa se hacen con el copy&paste desde hace ratón y queso.
Vaya un ejemplo que uno encuentra haciendo dos clicks, aunque no enardeció jamás los ánimos en las redacciones de la prensa española.
